Information
- Application Period (Spring Semester): September 1, 2026 – November 30, 2026. Applications must be submitted by mail.
- Applicants must submit all required application documents listed in this brochure to the Admissions Division, Office of Academic Affairs, National Taiwan University of Sport, by the application deadline.
- Except for disseminating admissions information, promoting the University, and assisting international students with necessary pre-arrival procedures for coming to Taiwan, National Taiwan University of Sport has not authorized any agency or third party to conduct admissions on its behalf.

Required Application Documents (Documents Required for All Applicants)
- Application Form (Appendix 1).
- One photocopy of the highest diploma or graduation certificate verified by an R.O.C. (Taiwan) overseas representative office, and one complete official transcript for the program of study in English or Chinese. If the original documents are in another language, a Chinese or English translation certified by the verification authority must also be provided.
- Note：Academic credentials from Hong Kong or Macao shall be processed in accordance with the Regulations Governing the Examination and Recognition of Educational Qualifications from Hong Kong and Macao.
- Note：Academic credentials from Mainland China shall be processed in accordance with the Regulations Governing the Recognition of Educational Qualifications from Mainland China.
- One photocopy of the passport (cover and personal information page) or other proof of nationality.
- Proof of financial support showing a minimum account balance of USD 3,000 (or the equivalent amount in another currency), or proof of a scholarship. Please submit one of the following：
- One financial statement issued by a financial institution within the past three months.
- If the financial statement is under the sponsor’s name, a completed Financial Guarantee Form (Appendix 2) must also be submitted.
- Proof of a full scholarship awarded by a government agency, university, or private organization.
- Proof of language proficiency: The primary language of instruction at National Taiwan University of Sport is Chinese. Applicants must meet the language proficiency requirements according to the language of instruction of their intended department or program.
- Chinese-taught programs: Applicants must demonstrate Chinese proficiency equivalent to TOCFL Level A2 or above. This requirement is waived if the applicant’s previous degree was taught in Chinese or the applicant majored in Chinese and provides supporting documentation.
- English-taught programs: Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to CEFR Level B1 or above. This requirement is waived if the applicant is a citizen of an English-speaking country, obtained a previous degree in an English-speaking country, or completed a previous degree in a program taught entirely in English, with supporting documentation.
- One Study Plan.
- Two Letters of Recommendation.
- Application fee: Bachelor's and Master's programs: TWD 1,500; Doctoral programs: TWD 3,000.
- One Declaration Form (Appendix 3).
- One Declaration of Non-Household Registration in Taiwan (Appendix 4).
- Department-specific required documents: Please refer to the Admissions Brochure for any additional documents required by the department or graduate institute to which you are applying, and submit them accordingly.
Admission Method
- Bachelor's and Master's Programs: Admission is based on the document review conducted by the admitting department. Applicants to the Department of Physical Education who pass the initial review must attend an interview.
- Doctoral Program (Department of Sport Performance): Admission is based on document review (30%), study and research proposal (30%), and interview (40%). Applicants are admitted according to their overall scores.

Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees Refund Policy

Scholarship Information
National Taiwan University of Sport has established the Scholarship Regulations for International Students. Outstanding international students may apply for scholarships of up to TWD 60,000 per semester based on academic merit.
